Internships
An internship with DOC will provide you with an immersive learning experience at the heart of the construction industry. Working closely with seasoned professionals, you’ll gain hands-on exposure to project planning, site supervision, and problem-solving, while contributing to real construction projects that shape the built environment. Our internship program provides a range of options to suit your preferences. Summer internships typically span 2-3 months, while semester-long co-op students often join our teams as part of their study program. Additionally, we welcome students seeking shorter internships during winter or spring breaks.

Good Foundations
Good Foundations is DOC’s construction training program that provides participants with exposure to and experience with the different functions that make up our business. Program participants move through eight functional rotations over approximately two years. After completing the program, graduates are familiar with all facets of our business and make important connections with the other trainees, mentors, and DOC staff they meet along their journey. Through the program, candidates will gain a thoughtful career growth strategy that helps them follow their passion.
